High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a resin with a linear structure when it is synthesized in the presence of a single monomer in the reaction medium (homopolymer). HDPE may have a reduced content of short branches when synthesized in the presence of 2 or more monomers (copolymer). The density of HDPE is in the range of 0.945-0.970 g/cm3.
