This line uses the CX process, world-renowned for its ability to produce a wide variety of products, including High Molecular Weight Polyethylenes (HMW-HDPE) and Bimodal Polyethylenes.
In this synthesis process, ethylene, hydrogen, catalysts and hexane are introduced into agitation reactors, generating a polymer paste in hexane. Subsequently, by means of a centrifugation and drying process, the polymer is separated from the hexane. Removed the hexane, the polyethylene powder is mixed with additives and extruded to bring it to the granulated form. The product is finally dried, homogenized and packed in 25 kg bags.
The line of High Density Polyethylenes (HDPE) has a capacity of 160,000 TM per year to produce Venelene® Polyethylenes used in the following transformation processes:
•Film extrusion: T-shirt type plastic bags, pre-cut bags, boutique bags.
•Blown extrusion: Containers from 1 to 60 L and drums up to 220 L.
•Pipes extrusion: ISO PE80 and PE100.
